English Dictionaries on line

Just couple of dictionaries, perhaps the most popular:

Collins English Dictionary
&
Merriam-Webster Online

What is also important - they are free.

One more. Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Idioms & Phrasal Verbs. Pity, but they are free and therefore brief versions of real dictionaries.

Another useful dictionary: BusinessDictionary.com. Over 20,000 terms. With pronunciation. Though I don't like those artificial voices it sometimes helps.

Thanks a lot! I must confess, being a translator, I didn't know so many dictionaries!

Maybe, you also know where can I find an English Language Activator?

Thank you in advance )

You are welcome!
Looks like the Activator isn't just a dictionary, it's closer to a schoolbook, therefore I'm not sure it's officially available free. Though I'm sure you can download it from a torrent site.
