Title: New words
Post by: SS. on 31 January 2010, 22:20:32
New words coined in 2009.
Though they consider "Unfriend" to be the 2009 Word, the following words seem more interesting:
intexticated – distracted because texting on a cellphone while driving a vehicle
sexting – the sending of sexually explicit texts and pictures by cellphone
funemployed – taking advantage of one’s newly unemployed status to have fun or pursue other interests
deleb – a dead celebrity

I love this one - ungoogleable (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ungoogleable).
especially this definition: "a word, phrase, name, person, place, or thing that is unable to be found on google, which means that it probably doesn't exist or is so rare that people are not responsible for knowing it exists, yet."

Just another illustration to the saying "You don't exist if you are not on the Internet".

broster

Although some of the definitions can be found here (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=broster), another one I had learned at work: it's a combination of a brochure and a poster.
